The loud noises provide the feeling of fear for the audience that appeals to the right type of audience for the film. The trailer uses darker tones for the colour scheme, mostly blue and black, which adds to the feeling of loneliness. It is short in length at just 1 minute and 13 seconds, It attracts attention with words on screen referencing the first film which appeals to alredy secured fans of the original.
Final Destination 5
At 2 minutes long we feel it is quite dragged out and showed too many scenes from the film. It didn’t give too much away about the actual plot of the film, but the previous films in the series mean the audience already know what to expect. The trailer features tense music building up to a crescendo. It Also has captions on screen, which seems to be a typical convention of most teaser trailers we have watched.
